Doing a paper cutout is quite a process.
It starts with a photo then it continues growing into an idea.
When the idea comes out onto paper it has to be worked and reworked until it is a workable composition. Then it has to be simplified into a stencil for cutting out.
Tracing and transferring is the last step before cutting begins. When the cutting begins it can take up to a 5 days depending on size. Of course the more intricate the design, the longer it takes.
I go through many blades per cut, and yes mistakes happen. I work with the mistakes. It is part of it. It is an art work after all and my own designs with artistic license! ?
