This was an interesting year in which I found myself moving away from traditional pattern and moving towards making my own patterns and textures using my own photos of my cats in the garden. This lead me to start doing botanicals.
This was also the year in which I found myself doing a few commissions, and form Holland no less!! That was exciting and scary at the same time. Being so far from the client using only the photos she send me via whatsapp and with a slight idea of what she likes, I did three catouts of her cats for her!
I was also asked to make a cutout of a friends house, a first for me doing something architectural, but I was pleased with the result, and so was my friend!
So all in all as an artist, I grew a lot in 2017 artist. Took part in quite a lot of exhibitions with some sales too!
